I started swimming laps 1 1/2 years ago with my sister-in-law.(Thanks Bree) & we were training for a Triathlon Sprint. My Soldier got me a bike for my b-day last year! :) I found this awesome website that helps plan out your training. I do tweak it up (see below) as I take Sunday off.
For starters....I'm not a fan of running (My soldier will tell you that I almost never workout) but I did a 5k when I was in Alabama and realized that running is mainly mental ... yep crazy. You have to just decide to do it. Some days will be better than others but just keep going and push yourself a little harder when you're feeling up to it. If you go at the same time every day that helps too! I prefer first thing in the morning.
I won't be swimming yet but starting tonight... yep, not waiting for tomorrow.... I'm going for a walk!
